So after a long delay, thanks Covid, we are going to be sharing this episode over zoom on Sunday Oct. 25th at 5pm! We are excited to finally be sharing this episode with you. A lot has changed since this episode was filmed. Sam was the Executive Chef at Upstream which has since closed and he has pivoted in a very interesting way. We will be showing the original episode as it was filmed and edited and then follow up with short update. All over zoom! There will be a short Q/A and Sam will do a cooking demo. Since we can’t all be together for a raffle or to sample some of Sam’s food, Sam’s newest venture, Your Farms Your Table, is offering a prepared three course meal for one for $30, including delicata squash soup with cinnamon, rosemary and chile; lemongrass and soy braised beef ribs, jasmine rice, shitake salsa and salted chocolate-caramel tarts with sweet cream, smoked sea salt, for pick up at Free Range Brewing, 2320 N. Davidson St., on Saturday, Oct. 24 after 2 p.m. Visit yourfarmsyourtable.com to place your order before 5 p.m. Sept. 23. Free Range will also have canned beer available for takeaway as well. A portion of the sales of this meal will be donated to Bens’s Friends.
