Happy 202 y’all! We are so happy to be back with an amazing episode featuring Ana Shellem of Shell’em Seafood Co. out of Wilmington, NC. Ana is a straight up bad ass! She heads out to harvest wild NC mussels, oysters and clams in the marshes around Wilmington and delivers them to restaurants in Wilmington and in Charlotte! You may have even eaten her freshly harvested shellfish at these Charlotte restaurants Dot Dot Dot, The Stanley, Fin and Fino, the Porters House, Heirloom, Hello Sailor and the upcoming Goodyear House among others.
We are also throwing an Oyster Roast alongside of this screening featuring wild NC oysters harvested by Ana! AND our friends at Free Range Brewing will be debuting an oyster stout beer collaboration, Sea of Companions, they made with Ana’s oysters! Social hour and oysters start at noon! Screening at 2, raffle to follow with prizes such as goodie bags of shellfish and dinner for two ft. Ana’s shellfish at the Stanley! This is seriously going to be an amazing afternoon of awesomeness!
