Come on out to Free Range Brewing on April 9th for our 7th episode of our second season featuring renowned pitmaster Sam Jones of Sam Jones BBQ and the Skylight Inn in Ayden, NC. Like his father before him and his grandfather who opened the Skylight Inn in 1947, Jones cooks whole hogs cooked over wood, the way his ancestors and his family did it years and years ago.

Stick around for a Free Range/order/fire Pig Picking! Sam Jones will be cooking the pig, bringing his famous coleslaw and the Community Culinary School of Charlotte will be helping out and preparing some other side dishes. There is a $10 suggested donation per plate and ALL proceeds are donated to the Community Culinary School of Charlotte. CCSC is a nonprofit that provides Workforce Development training and job placement assistance in the food service industry for adults who face barriers gaining long-term successful employment.
Social hour starts at noon, the episode plays about 1pm and food is served around 2pm. First come, first served!
