On April 3d we had a viewing party for our NC Craft Beer episode at our partner Free Range Brewing! About 400 of y’all showed up! Our biggest turnout yet! Thank you guys so much for coming out and supporting us, we really appreciate it! After the episode played there was a pig picking. Marc and a slew of other die hard chef volunteers stayed up all night and cooked a pig in the homemade pit ( Thanks Jeff and Jason! ) Side dishes were donated by sooooo many area chefs and with beer from all 4 breweries featured in the episode, it was on! On like Donkey Kong! The party went all afternoon and a great time was had by everyone! Donations were accepted and the proceeds were to benefit Farm Hands, a great originazation that is close to both our and Free Range’s hearts. Your generous donations meant that Farms Hands received $2438! That is quite a fund raiser! We can’t wait to see what they and their farmers do with it!
This was a blast and so much fun, we can’t wait to do it again!
We need to give thanks to all of those who helped and participated and donated and cleaned and cooked and showed up! Our deepest thanks goes to Free Range, without whom, none of this happens!
